I have a child so would like somethiing to do in their nap time. I used to do a lot of running, yoga, swimming. So whatever works the best – in terms of quick results and only an hour a day.

I have been told pole dancing is good – but not sure about putting a pole up at home, also pilates machine but never tried it.
I have a child so would rather not go out the house and leave him alone!

Buy some workout videos and some light weights. They have hour workout videos. I used to do them in my physical education class in high school. By the time we were done we were a little sore. The best we had were the ones by Billy Blank

I recommend doing a variety of exercises. I would recommend biking, walking, push-ups- pull-ups, sit-ups, swimming, Home Gym, treadmill or an elliptical.
I would recommend switching it all up so your hitting all different muscles, burning calories at different rates and making it happen.

You do not have to exercise vigorously to reap health benefits. You can still stay healthy if you do moderate-intensity physical activity for at least 30 minutes per day, 5 days a week.
The 30 minutes can be broken down into 10 min segment throughout the day.
Example of Routine/Daily physical activity that you can engage
* taking the stairs instead of the elevator
* If you’re taking bus, getting off the bus one stop earlier and walking the remaining distance
* If you’re driving, parking the car further away from the intended destination and walking the remaining distance
* doing some household chores, mopping the floor, clean the windows, and gardening

Do sit ups and crunches and run and jog.
