JustMyOpinion asked:

I’ve been walking everyday (brisk pace, for about an hour), doing Pilates a few days a week, and doing some light weight lifting. I’ve been watching what I eat (fruits, veggies, whole-wheat bread/crackers/etc., no junk food…you get the point). I’d like to lose about 20-30 lbs over the next 2-3 months. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Anything I need to be doing that I’m not? Any advice? Thanks!

Mario

Your routine seems to be very good. Here is a sample workout if you want to add some variety:

It sounds like you have a great program going. My suggestion if your goal is weight loss would be to increase the amout of cardio you do, and its intensity. Walk, jog, sprint. Walk uphill, or on an incline if you use a treadmill. Get your heart rate up even further than you do on your brisk walks. If you can, get 45 minutes of cardio in per day. If you have the time, get some cardio in before you do pilates or weights so your heart rate is up and you burn more. The more you keep yourself in motion, the more you will burn.

Good luck, and keep it up!
